5-7th May 2021 Birmingham UK

Student Roundtable

Please note that this year’s conference will be online.

In addition to full papers, we are also inviting contributions from postgraduate (and strong undergraduate) students to take part in a series of Round Table events on the evening (GMT) of 5 May 2021.

Each Round Table will begin with a series of short 5 minute presentations by selected speakers, and then a chaired discussion will examine the themes explored by the speakers. Both speakers and audience will be encouraged to participate in the discussion, asking questions, critiquing ideas and sharing insights regarding the themes of the conference. This is an opportunity for students to present work that is under development to a broader academic audience within a supportive environment.

As the conference will be online, the Round Table events will take place via standard video conferencing software. Presenters are welcome to use slides to accompany their short presentations.

If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please send a summary of your presentation (max 150 words) and a brief biography (max 150 words) to the conference email: dressincontext@bcu.ac.uk.

If you would like to discuss your presentation prior to making a submission, you are welcome to contact sian.hindle@bcu.ac.uk.
